Yep, you heard me. Baby H is growing like crazy right now and next week we have not only one but two appointments scheduled. The first one is another midwife-appointment where we get to hear our little baby’s heartbeat! I cannot wait!
The second appointment is the second scan, or ultrasound, which will probably be even more exciting as we will get to see our baby move around and there might be some facial movements and thumb-sucking as well! We will definitely be sure to post some pictures of this for everyone to see!
We are actually lucky to even get the second scan as they just changed the rules on this in Edinburgh. Before the New Year our county only offered the 16 week scan for free, if you wanted an 18-week one you would have to pay for it yourself. Great timing, H!
The Harrison-Helin’s have also been out shopping for baby. Shaena bought baby the cutest Winnie the Pooh-onesie (after all, it’s a little Winnipegger in the making in her tummy) in Athens with a matching Winnie-hat and matching soothers and I picked up a nice little Frankfurt t-shirt at the airport in Frankfurt. Adorable!
