Cara & Brad

That was nice! Cara & Brad made it in to Edinburgh and came by to visit us this evening. They have had quite the trip so far, and not everything has gone according to plan unfortunately. They told us all about their hassle with canceled flights coming over here and their drive around Scotland that wasn’t always as straight forward as they would have hoped it would be. They also showed us photos from their wedding day and a series of photos taken by a professional photographer. We should definitely try and get a few nice professional photos of Ethan, and a few family photos taken while we are over in the Peg!

They were quite tired after their weeklong road trip, and we were quite tired after the weekend, so we just had a nice chilled out evening with Chinese food and a few beers. Can’t beat that! We will try and get together with them for dinner tomorrow evening again, and I am sure we’ll get a chance to catch up back in Winnipeg in November as well. Hopefully their trip home on Wednesday is a little bit easier than the trip over here. Fingers crossed!
