It is April Fools today and of course Shaena's birthday. As Shaena and Ethan are still in Appleton, we won't be doing a traditional birthday celebration on the day, but then again; what is really traditional in our crazy but fantastic family life? For the last couple of years on Shaena's birthday we have managed to either move flat or country so the fact that Shaena is in the US right now, celebrating with family (still surrounded by moving boxes however) is more than ok of course.
Great grandma and Nini are preparing a birthday turkey dinner feast for Shaena and before supper they are all going for spa treatments! Moi on the hand had a surprise visit from Maeghan this evening and got to treat her to a cheap and cheerful Spag Bol dinner and a couple of glasses of wine in return for a good chat, so I am not complaining at all.
Oh, and I crafted this chocolate birthday card for Shaena and her birthday pressie this year will be a date night with a dinner and a Bluetones-concert for next weekend... and the 'New Moon' DVD. Go Team Edward! :)
So Maeghan caved and stayed eh! You must have the bestest Spaghetti in the world!! :) Miss you!! Hope to be home soooon!!
